Hi! I’m Ran Joplo, a graphic designer based in Manila, Philippines. I have over 4 years of experience with print design, brand identity design, motion graphics animation, and video editing.
In 2012, I worked as a graphic design intern at Status Magazine where I improved my print design skills and gained an understanding on how a publication functions. Between 2013 and 2014, I worked as a video editor and animator in a video production team and completed three music videos for Curve Entertainment. All of them were aired on MYX music channel.
After completing my multimedia arts degree at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, I continued to work as a freelance graphic designer focusing on print design and brand identity.
I share a studio space with my younger sister Kat Joplo, who is currently a fashion design and merchandising student at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. We use this space when we’re working on our personal projects or whenever we have to take our own photos for said projects.
Outside of my work, I enjoy going to art exhibits, design seminars, music concerts and festivals, reading design books and magazines, creating animated GIFs, and taking artsy photos for my Instagram (@ranjoplo). You’ll rarely find me wearing anything other than button-up shirts.
